Accessing a Test

Once you've enrolled in the Digital SAT course you can take a full-length test. To take a test, click on the "Tests" button on the dashboard.

Once you're on the Full-Length Tests page, simply click on the name of the test that you'd like to take.

If you would like to attempt an individual module, you can click the dropdown to the left of the test name to see the modules that make up each test.

Moving Between Modules

Once you begin taking a full-length test you'll work through 4 modules:

  • Reading & Writing Module 1 (27 Questions)
  • Reading & Writing Module 2A or 2B (27 Questions)
  • Math Module 1 (22 Questions)
  • Math Module 2A or 2B (22 Questions)

Navigate through each module by clicking on the question tiles or the "Next" button. Once you reach the last question of a module, clicking the "Next" button will take you to the next module and you cannot go back to the prior module. So, make sure that you've verified all your answers before you move on!

Once you've been taken to a new module, you can see which module you received (2A or 2B) by looking at the banner at the top of the instructions page.

How Piqosity Determines Which Module You'll See

Every student will work the same Module 1 in Reading & Writing and Math. However, their score on module 1 will affect which secondary module they are shown: Module 2A or 2B. Generally speaking, module 2A is considered "easier" and module 2B is considered "harder" (for both Reading & Writing and Math). Which module Piqosity shows a student is based on their performance in the first module (just like on the real Digital SAT).

This breakdown is approximated below:

  • If you score over 70% on Reading & Writing Module 1, then you'll see Module 2B. Otherwise, you'll receive Module 2A.
  • If you score over 60% on Math Module 1, then you'll see Module 2B. Otherwise, you'll receive Module 2A.

It should be a noted that a student's maximum score is dependent on the modules they work:

  • A student who receives Reading & Writing Module 2A can get a maximum score of 590 on the section, while a student who receives Module 2B can get a maximum of 800.
  • A student who receives Math Module 2A can get a maximum score of 590 on the section, while a student who receives Module 2B can get a maximum of 800.
