Once you add students to your organization, you'll be able monitor their progress including viewing their student dashboard just as they see it. This access enables you to see detailed performance analytics including sub-topic level strengths and weaknesses, date of last log in, and what the student actually did.

Before You Begin

Before you can upload students to Piqosity:

  1. Your e-mail address must be verified.
  2. You must have a credit card on file for paid courses like ISEE; however, no card is required for free courses like ACT and SAT.
  3. Download this CSV template to use with the "Upload from CSV" feature below.

From the Dashboard, you can access the import students page one of 2 ways:

  1.  Select "Multiple Students" from the right side of the dashboard.
  2.  Select "Students" from the green navigation bar.

Two Ways to Import Multiple Students

1. Upload from CSV

The "Upload from CSV" option allows you to upload your own spreadsheet when it's saved as a .CSV file, which is short for comma separated value. Most software including Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets allows you to save your data in a .CSV file.

  1. Select the desired tutor, course, class, and upload method from the dropdowns.
  2. If you choose to upload your students via .CSV, download the .CSV file template to ensure correct formatting.
  3. Match the data type of each column to Piqosity's database using the dropdowns.
  4. Piqosity will calculate what fees you will be charged (if any) based off of the course/s selected and your current group discount.

Important Notes

  • Remember to save the file in .CSV format otherwise you will not be able to upload the students.
  • Remember to provide your students with their credentials; students can change their password once they've logged in by clicking on their "Profile" from the green navigation bar.

2. Copy and Paste

The "Copy and Paste" option allows you to take data from your existing spreadsheet like Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or Apple Numbers and directly input them into Piqosity.

  1. Select the destination tutor, course, class, and upload method from the dropdowns.
  2. Copy and paste the student data from your spreadsheet; do not include the header row. Your spreadsheet must include columns for Last Name, First Name, E-Mail, and Password.
  3. Match the data type of each column to Piqosity's database using the dropdowns.
  4. After you've pasted your data and matched headers, Piqosity will calculate what fees you will be charged (if any) based off of the course/s selected and your current group discount.

Important Notes

  • Remember to provide your students with their credentials; students can change their password once they've logged in by clicking on their "Profile" from the green navigation bar.
  • You can only copy and paste student data from a spreadsheet like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; Piqosity will not recognize data from a text editor like Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
  • You may not upload more than 150 new student accounts at a time. Please contact us to upload more.
