Student self-assessments are a common teaching technique to encourage students to take their work seriously and be honest about their strengths and weaknesses and how they can address them.

Piqosity requires students to complete a brief self-assessment at the end of each practice set:

  1. How difficult did you think the test was? (Very easy to Very Hard)
  2. How much time did you think you had (Plenty to Not Enough)
  3. How hard did you try (Didn't Try to Really Tried)
  4. General Thoughts (free text response)

Note that the self-assessment is required. The submit button will not change from grey to green until it has been completed. The results of the self-assessment are shown on the Analysis page of the quiz results and can be discussed with educators during class or tutorials.
