Student self-assessments are a common teaching technique to encourage students to take their work seriously and be honest about their strengths and weaknesses and how they can address them.
Piqosity requires students to complete a brief self-assessment at the end of each practice set:
- How difficult did you think the test was? (Very easy to Very Hard)
- How much time did you think you had (Plenty to Not Enough)
- How hard did you try (Didn't Try to Really Tried)
- General Thoughts (free text response)
Note that the self-assessment is required. The submit button will not change from grey to green until it has been completed.
The results of the self-assessment are shown on the Analysis page of the quiz results and can be discussed with educators during class or tutorials.
