When creating a new user account, we ask you to input your location and select from the dropdown list that appears as you're typing.

This location is validated against Google's database and allows us to better assist you including setting time zone, enabling regional peer norming, and ensuring availability of services.

If you receive the red message, "Pleases select valid location from list only," you need to go back to the location field and ensure that you select an item from the dropdown.

If your exact point isn't appearing, simply select the closest location. For example, instead of typing in "Southampton Place," which might be too specific, you could simply select "Houston."

Your internet speed might also be affecting this field since it's connecting in real time to Google's database. If nothing is appearing even when typing in a major city, simply wait a second or two for the data to load or try reloading the page.
